i made this delicious frangipane tart upwards of a month ago & just have not been able to find the time to get it up. it was the midst of summer & raspberries were in season [aka total abundance at the market – yes!]. what goes better together than summer sunshine & the taste of fresh raspberries? nothing. the answer is nothing.
tarts are so lovely with their perfectly crimped crust — i wanted to give one a go. before then, i sadly don’t even think i had experienced all of the glory that is. to be honest, i don’t think i have ever seen something disappear as quickly as this raspberry frangipane did. the kids even enjoyed it, despite their [most of the time] absolute hatred for nuts.
